Dissertation Research Study: Come Be a Participant!!

You are invited to participate in Dissertation Research Study:

Several studies including clinical supervision studied the relationship between the counselor’s self-efficacy and the supervisory relationship. However, this study will examine the relationship between the counselor’s self-efficacy (defined at the perceived readiness to practice independently) and the supervisor’s characteristics/traits, and their professional counselor identity. If you decide to participate, then you will join a study involving research that seeks to identify valuable information to improve the processes of clinical supervision.  If you say YES, then your participation will last for 20-25 minutes to complete an online survey.

Clinical Supervision: Are you being adequately prepared for independent practice?

This study involving the topic of clinical supervision is being conducted in the state of Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia and will examine the various complexities surrounding clinical supervision

  • Are you licensed to practice or seeking a license as an LPC in NC, GA, or VA?
  • Have you been licensed for less than 2 years?


If you answered YES to these questions, you are eligible to participate in the study.
